As a Dyson upright cylinder vacuum, all of the key performance features you associate with Dyson apply to the DC 33. For example, the machine will never loose suction, during use, or over time. You can expect the same high standard of performance through the entirety of the machines life time.

No Loss of Suction, No Extra Cost

As with all of Dyson’s cyclone powered vacuums, there are no bags to empty or replace (nor do you have to replace the filter.) Over the years that your Dyson, being rigorously tested for the highest standards of durability, will undoubtedly last, you may stand to make a considerable saving on running costs. The machine comes with a five year warranty. The amount you save on filters and bags over this time could be as much as £175.

In addition as there is no bag to clog up, your cleaner will not loose any power of suction as it fills up.

Allergy Friendly

The special HEPA filter fitted to the DC 33 means that that all of the allergens and pollen unearthed by the machines powerful suction are safely contained, making it perfect for those with allergies. The excellent suction power means that particles of just 0.5 microns, including pollen, spores and other allergens are removed from the air, leaving, not only the floors, but also the air in your home cleaner.

Energy Efficient and Versatile

You may think that, with being so powerful, the DC 33 must consume a lot of energy. However, you’d be wrong. Compared with other models by rival manufacturers, the DC 33 uses as much as 500 watts less power.

The only draw back of is that the machine can be a bit on the noisy sound, generating around 8dbc when going full blast.

At only 8kg the machine is fairly light weight, making it more manoeuvrable than the average vacuum and much easier to carry up and down stairs.

As well being easy to transport up and down the stairs, the DC 33 also cleans them very well. Each machine comes with a tool, especially designed to extract dirt from the right angled crevices of stairs.

Other tools include the detachable debris nozzle, which converts to a brush tool for those occasions when a spot of dusting is required.

DC 33 Stubborn

As well as the regular Dyson hallmarks, the DC 33 Stubborn model also carries many unique features. For one it comes equipped with a with a stubborn dirt brush. With its stiff bristles, this brush will make short work of messes that might over wise present a tough challenge.

Mud, for example, is soon plied away, especially from the hard floors you’ll usually find in potentially messy areas, such as the kitchen and utility rom. Dried in dirt and stains of other types are also highly susceptible to the brush’s specially designed bristles.

The DC 33 Stubborn also comes with a canister of Dyson’s own stain removal agent, Dysolz. Dysloz uses four active cleaning agents to take on spills such as grease, food, drink, soil and other difficult to remove stains. It is ideal for use with carpets and wool, is PH neutral (neither an acid or alkaline based cleaner) and is environmentally friendly.

DC 33 Animal

Perfect for those with pets, this version comes with a mini turbine head with which the machine is fitted with motorised bristles, designed specifically for the purpose of cleaning pet hairs from confined spaces, such as upholstery (in the home and in vehicles) and stairways.

Of course, whilst the mini turbine is excellent at extracting pet airs from a number of clinging surfaces, it is equally as effective when used for general cleaning, channelling 255 air watts of suction power wherever you choose to point it, with no loss of suction, guaranteed. One draw back of this is that it picks up so many hairs that it can be difficult to clean.

An additional Dyson Groom Tool (which is fully compatible with the DC 33 Animal) can be fitted, allowing you to go straight to the source, rather than hunting down stray hairs all around your home. The groom tool can be applied directly to your dog and, without causing discomfort, it will remove loose hairs before they are shed.
